FILE - In this July 5, 1980 file photo, Bjorn Borg celebrates after defeating John McEnroe to win at the All England Lawn Tennis Championships in Wimbledon, London. The cool Swede was the first man to win five straight Wimbledon titles since Britain’s Laurence Doherty in the early years of the 20th century. Borg’s success was somewhat of a surprise as his game was considered to be more appropriate for the clay courts of Paris than the lush green grass of southwest London. His victory over McEnroe in 1980 remains one of, if not the, greatest tennis matches ever played. Despite losing a fourth set tiebreaker 18-16, Borg swept the American aside in the deciding fifth.
